THE 2% FUND

Due to the 2% Fiscal Code provision, the taxpayers can redirect 2% of their annual income tax to a non-profit organization/institution, that complies with the Government ordinance 26/2000 regarding associations and NGO foundations.

THE 20% FUND - receiving 20% of the companies income tax.

Campaign objectives:

  • stimulating and strengthening the partnership between the taxpayers and the “Solidarity and Hope” Foundation;
  • informing taxpayers from various institutions on the legal steps necessary to securely redirect 2% of the income tax to the “Solidarity and Hope” Foundation;
  • increasing the capability of the “Solidarity and Hope” Foundation of solving community problems by accessing alternate sources of funding.

The outcome of the 2% Campaign: “A Small Gift Goes a Long Way!” / “A Small Gift Helps a Lot!” was a total of 18.287 Lei donated to the “Solidarity and Hope” Foundation.

This is a continuous fundraising campaign aimed at high profit companies with the capability to redirect 20% of their income tax to social activities. In 2006 the amount was 29.115 Lei.
