Direct beneficiaries: In the year 2009, the Centre had a total of 37 beneficiaries. Since February, we increased the number of permanent beneficiaries from 20 to 25.
Indirect beneficiaries: 32 families during the whole year, 20 families constantly supported.

Results of the activity
- 25 children receive daily social, psychological and educational support services at the Day Centre;
- 25 children have improved physical health state owing to balanced nutrition and medical follow-up;
- 99% of the beneficiaries meet educational requirements, thus reducing early school leaving;
- 75% of the children have made progress in terms of personality development and socialization / social integration;
- Approximately 20 of the families of origin receive counselling and support services;
- At least 75% of the parents who attended parenting courses have developed skills and abilities required for the care, communication / interaction with and education of their own children;
- 16 primary school teachers (from the beneficiaries’ schools of origin) are involved in follow-up and exchange activities aimed at preventing early school leaving;
- 800 hours of activities involving the beneficiaries;
- 100 hours of information and counselling activities for the beneficiaries’ parents;
- The media supports the campaign for the promotion of community social services for early school leavers by means of radio broadcasts, articles on social assistance issues, publication of job advertisements and other media tools for the promotion of the project.
Visibility
- Radio program with the centre’s beneficiaries, at Easter and Christmas; the children sang songs and were interviewed on Radio Trinitas;
- Program on Nord Est Radio focusing on the organization and functioning of the centre and its beneficiaries;
- Advertisement broadcast on Radio Impact FM;
- Program on Radio Trinitas by the project manager focusing on the services provided at the centre;
- Leaflets presenting the Day Centre;
- A magazine detailing the activities carried out in partnership with “Vasile Lupu” teacher training school;
- Flyers and leaflets for Solidarity and Hope Foundation, which present all the projects it has organised, including those at “St. Marina” Day Centre;
