By forming strategic partnerships with the “Diaconia” Social Mission and the Regional Training Center for Local Public Administration, both from the Republic of Moldova, the project intends to develop, at one time, physical medicine, balneal and recuperative medical services.
Our target group is composed of 80 young people from the Republic of Moldova, aged between 18 and 25, with health problems and lacking access to health services. Twenty out of the eighty are studying in Romania, while the rest of 60 studies in the Republic of Moldova.
For this project the “Solidarity and Hope” Foundation uses the facilities of “Providenta” Medical Center of the Metropolitanate of Moldova and Bucovina and is involved in promoting the project both locally, in Iasi, but also across the border, by facilitating the transport of medical teams and patients between the two countries.
Another aim of the project is to set up at “Providenta” Medical Center modern physiotherapeutic and balneal facilities to compensate the lack of such services in the Republic of Moldova.
Main activities: to create an institutional and organizational setting that allows providing integrated medical services; health care activities; continuous health educational activities; promotional activities; counseling activities; project assessment activities; promotional activities aimed at increasing project sustainability.
